Biswas, Director(Personnel), THDC India Limited (THDCIL) has been conferred with ‘HR Leader Award’ at 4th Annual Green-Tech HR Awards on 27.06.2014 at a grandeur ceremony organized at Hotel Marriot, Bengaluru. This award is an acknowledgement of exemplary initiatives taken by Sh. Biswas in the field of Human Resources Management and his commendable efforts in making HR as a Strategic Partnerand being a role model.

This award ceremony witnessed the Confluence of leading HR Professionalsacross the country, Technocrats, from various Public Sector Undertakings, Governmental Organizations, Academicians, & Researchers working in the field of HR including members of civil society from different walks of life. Apart from this the other key fatures of this event was knowledge sharing sessions, professional interaction, positive leadership & communication etc.

This achievement is certainly a matter of pride for THDCIL as an organization and will help in motivating the employees in better proliferation of HR Policies & strategy. THDCIL is one of the premier hydro power generators in the country with installed capacity of 1400 MW with commissioning of Tehri & Koteshwar Dam to its credit and is bestowed with ‘Mini Ratna-Category-I & Schedule ‘A’ Status. THDCIL also has plans toincrease its installed capacity to 2424 MW by the end of XIIth Plan.
